NEWFIE POP is out now. Eight tracks. One long night in a haunted harbour town. Anxiety you can dance to from Glovertown to wherever you are.
I built this one out of the stuff that usually keeps me up at night. The overthinking. The nerves. The days when everything goes sideways. Instead of hiding from all of it, I turned it into songs you can move to. That's the whole idea behind 709 Frequency the scary stuff becomes the art instead of the cage.
Here's what's on it:
1. Anxiety Got Me Drove (4:37) — My anxiety grabbed the wheel and wouldn't give it back, so I made it a song.
2. Heave Away, Me Jollies (3:40) — A shanty for the overthinkers. You can heave all day and the worry still comes along for the haul, so we sing it out instead.
3. Mudder Said There'd Be Days (4:11) — Mudder called it. The days when everything goes sideways and your nerves are doing jigs.
4. Nerves in the Harbour (5:04) — Standing on the wharf, watching the water, nerves rolling in with the tide.
5. Newfie Shakes (3:58) — It's not the cold. It's the nerves.
6. Who Knit Ya? (4:51) — Nan's got questions. So do I.
7. Anxiety Rich (4:47) — Might be broke in the bank, but I'm anxiety rich.
8. Perfect Doesn't Exist (4:21) — I spent long enough chasing perfect. It doesn't exist, so I stopped.
Turn it up. Dance with your panic. If this album found you mid spiral, you're exactly where you need to be.
Thanks for tuning in, b'y. You're not the only one ⚡📺
