BEHIND THE MUSIC

Music has always been another way for me to get the stuff in my head out into the world.

What started as ideas, feelings, memories, random thoughts, Newfoundland culture, anxiety, humour, nostalgia and a whole lot of late night creativity turned into something I wanted to actually share.

This page is where I’m putting all of it.

Everything I've released so far, everything I'm working on now and everything that's still living somewhere in my head waiting to become a song.

Some tracks are connected to bigger projects, like Saltbox Static Therapy Haus and its different rooms. Others are their own thing entirely. Some are emotional. Some are weird. Some are chaotic. Some are made to make you dance. Some might make you stop and think.

There isn't really one sound that defines 709 Frequency.
It's whatever frequency I'm on.

I use music the same way I use clothing and design to tell stories, express myself, deal with the messy stuff, celebrate where I'm from and hopefully make someone else feel a little less alone in their own head.

This is my music.

My chaos.
